By using HouseStay platform and booking accommodations, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
By accessing or using the HouseStay platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and book accommodations. By using our services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are of legal age to form a binding contract
- You possess the legal authority to enter into these terms
- You will provide accurate and complete information
- You will update your information to keep it accurate
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensure your account information remains secure
- Not share your login credentials with third parties
- Be liable for any damages arising from unauthorized use
Rental Conditions
Check-in & Check-out
- • Check-in: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM (flexible with prior notice)
- • Check-out: 11:00 AM (late checkout available for fee)
- • Early check-in subject to availability and additional charges
Occupancy Limits
- • Maximum occupancy as stated in listing description
- • Additional guests must be registered and approved
- • Violation may result in immediate termination without refund
Payment Terms
House Rules
Following these rules ensures a pleasant stay for everyone and helps maintain the quality of our properties.
No Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all properties. Designated outdoor smoking areas may be available. Violation incurs $250 cleaning fee.
No Parties/Events
Unauthorized parties or events are prohibited. Small gatherings require prior written approval from host.
Pet Policy
Pets allowed only in pet-friendly properties with prior approval. $50 pet fee applies. Emotional support animals require documentation.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please respect neighbors and keep noise levels reasonable at all times.
Waste Disposal
Proper waste sorting is required. Please follow local recycling guidelines and dispose of trash in designated bins.
Lock Up
Secure all doors and windows when leaving the property. Lock any bikes or outdoor equipment. Report lost keys immediately ($25 replacement fee).

Force Majeure Policy
In cases of natural disasters, pandemics, or government travel restrictions, we offer full refunds or credit for future stays regardless of cancellation timeframe. Documentation may be required.

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use HouseStay.
Data Collection
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone, payment info), automatically collected data (IP address, browser type, device info), and transaction data related to your bookings.
Data Protection
We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits. Your payment information is processed by PCI-compliant third-party processors and never stored on our servers.
Information Sharing
We share necessary information with hosts to facilitate bookings (name, contact info, arrival details). We never sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with legal authorities when required by law.
Liability & Insurance
Guest Liability: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay beyond normal wear and tear. This includes damage caused by invitees or pets. Security deposits will be used to cover damages, with additional charges applied if costs exceed the deposit amount.
Insurance Requirements: We strongly recommend guests obtain travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal property loss. Hosts maintain property insurance, but this does not cover guest personal belongings.
Limitation of Liability: HouseStay acts as an intermediary platform and is not liable for disputes between guests and hosts, injuries occurring on properties, or losses due to theft or natural disasters. Our liability is limited to the amount of service fees paid for the specific booking.
Indemnification: By using our platform, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless HouseStay, its affiliates, and team members from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
